Accelerating the borderless Lakehouse: Announcing preview of cross-cloud caching

Google Cloud has introduced the preview of cross-cloud caching and connections for its borderless Lakehouse in BigQuery. The new caching feature stores frequently accessed data locally from sources like Amazon S3 and Azure Data Lake Storage, transparently accelerating multi-cloud queries and lowering remote cross-cloud transfer costs.
