Cleveland Clinic, RIKEN, IBM named Gordon Bell finalists
Cleveland Clinic, RIKEN, and IBM are ACM Gordon Bell Prize finalists for quantum-HPC chemistry research. The team simulated a 12,635-atom protein system using IBM Quantum Heron processors and supercomputers. A new paper describes an automated workflow on RIKEN hardware that improves binding energy calculations and reduces manual coordination.
