Hackers publish thousands of drivers’ data after breaching Florida motor vehicle database

Hackers from the ShinyHunters group breached Florida's motor vehicle database, stealing hundreds of thousands of vehicle ownership records and some personal documents, then published the data after the victim ignored ransom demands. The breach was confirmed by FLHSMV, which noted the attackers used a police officer's compromised credentials.
