Introducing Filestore agent volumes: fully managed storage for agent workspaces

Google Cloud introduces Filestore agent volumes, a managed storage feature for AI agent workspaces on GKE. The system automatically allocates and attaches isolated file storage to agent sandboxes in milliseconds, eliminating manual disk management. This capability targets large-scale agent fleets requiring persistent state, elastic provisioning, and strict workspace isolation without custom infrastructure overhead.
