Kubernetes CSI Changed Block Tracking moved to Beta, promoting the SnapshotMetadataService CRD to v1beta1 and removing v1alpha1. Developers upgrading from Alpha must re-apply CRD definitions and update manifests. The feature requires Kubernetes 1.33 and CSI spec 1.10, supporting block volumes for incremental backup workflows.
