Kubernetes v1.37: Pod-Level Resource Managers graduated to Beta

Kubernetes v1.37 moves Pod-Level Resource Managers to Beta, allowing Kubelet to allocate exclusive NUMA resources to primary containers while sharing sidecars. This feature is disabled by default but offers a new PodResources API for monitoring tools. It resolves the previous all-or-nothing choice for hybrid workloads, enabling better resource efficiency for latency-critical applications without wasting dedicated cores on auxiliary processes.
