NVIDIA NVLink Fusion Expands With NVHBM Custom High-Bandwidth Memory

NVIDIA expands NVLink Fusion with NVHBM, a custom high-bandwidth memory technology integrating the controller into the base die. This design claims up to 30 percent greater bandwidth and 15 percent lower power versus standard HBM4E. Amazon Annapurna Labs will adopt the technology for Trainium4 chips, enabling mixed-rack architectures with NVIDIA GPUs.
